We’ve been busy building The Flower House and it’s pretty much finished now.
Earlier in the year, I shared the beginning stages of the build and why we decided on doing a Backyard Cut Flower Garden instead of growing the flowers on our farmland.
It’s been amazing to see it come to life.
The Flower House
Build
Antique Cupola-Market Place
Tin Roof & Gutters-my hubby took them off an old furniture factory that was being demolished
Antique Shutter French Doors-Ohio
Windows-we had in storage(thankfully I never sold them)
Stars-Architectural Salvage out of Connecticut
Siding-off of an Old House Garage
Flooring – Old Cotton Mill Lincolnton
Gable Ends – Hart Land Salvage
We’re now adding a farm fence we found on Market Place and several climbing roses(New Dawn, Eden).
The cut flower garden is doing really well this year.
Beautiful Pro-Cut White Nite Sunflowers, thousands of zinnias, and several dahlias.
It’s my first year planting dahlias and I have already learned a few things.
Like voles eating a few of my tubers, but I have a plan for next year!
I hope you’re all enjoying summer and if you want to see videos of the build or flower garden I have them saved to my highlights on my Instagram.
Kindly, xo
Jane
