A Life Well Lived

Do not go where the path may lead,

go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

2020 was a year we will not forget!

As we turned the page to a new year, it felt a little different for me.

Did you feel it too?

I always pick a word or phrase for the year and share it with all of you.

This year something shifted within me due to the situation we were all faced with.

Each one of us walking a different path.

Strangely what came out of it for me was a sense of gratitude.

The year provided an unexpected time to reflect and what came out of that time was an unwavering sense to believe…wholeheartedly.

I have strong areas where things come easily to me and other areas of self-doubt and limiting beliefs.

As I pondered my year and my outlook on 2021 I settled on two words.

North Star

Several months back I heard someone talking about following your north star.

An expression I had heard plenty of times, however this time I couldn’t shake it.

Staying true to myself and embracing the magic that comes from quietly creating from the heart.

If you feel lost entering this year I would like to suggest that you trust yourself!

You know inside of you what you want to create and the life you dream of living.

You’re a creative wanting to live an intentional life.

Dreams do come true…

You just need to believe that you’re worthy of them.

Rember you wouldn’t have the dream if you didn’t have the ability to fulfill it.

Please share your word or phrase in the comments below friends

and let’s create an uplifting community of kindhearted, creative, voices for 2021 💗

Kindly, xo

  • “Remember you wouldn’t have the dream if you didn’t have the ability to fulfill it.”
    Such wise words!
I haven’t chosen a word…I am waiting for it to choose me.
Some distractions, here at home, making it harder for me to be still and focus.
I do know for sure that I am excited for what my first year as a full time booth owner will bring.
    I love your word Jane!

  • Lovely thoughts and “North Star” —so wonderful. My phrases are “let go, surrender” and “God’s timing, not mine.” Cheers to intentional living in 2021 and beyond.

  • Beautiful thoughts… I keep pondering my word for this year. Joyful keeps coming up for me as I feel I need to infuse more joy into everyday life. This past year has been a challenge for so many. The times I felt the most like myself was when I created moments of comfort and joy.

  • My word is CONNECTION…it was actually my word for last year, but then I let the belief that the Pandemic would not allow me to connect…but then I had to surrender to the fact that we can connect in sooooooo many different ways…Here’s to Round 2!
