Tulips in Silo Rings | The Flower House

Bloom

Hand Tied Daffodil Bouquet on a light blue metal vintage chair

Spring has arrived in the south.

Daffodils were the first to bloom followed by our magnolia trees and ornamental weeping cherries.

Tulips are not far behind.

Hibernation is over!

And I’m back behind my camera.

It feels good to be photographing the first blooms of the season.

As nature wakes up so does my creativity.

I have three seasons to capture the beauty of a single stem or a handful of freshly harvested blooms.

Daffodils in The Flower House

This year I’ll be launching spring, summer, and fall collections.

If you see a photo that you think should be a notecard or journal, please message me.

Keep in mind notecards can also be framed.

I framed Sunflower Frilly in a white frame I picked up at Target.

I love the look of the large matt around the photo.

If you’re still in the snow, I hope my photos brighten your day.

Soon everyone will be enjoying the happiness of the first flowers blooming.

The Flower House. Sun is setting in early spring.

The Flower House captured as the sun was setting.

The birds were chirping, the air was war, and I was enjoying the simplicity of the moment.

Simplicity is at the heart of my flower photography.

It’s in these quiet moments that I find inspiration for my photos.

Where do you find inspiration?

Kindly, xo

Jane
