Do you ever think about what brings you joy?

I was headed to the farmer’s market last Saturday and I felt a little giddy inside.

I realized that simply heading to the market makes me happy.

It has taken my creative business to realize that treating myself to some of life’s simple pleasures like flowers brings me joy.

I carefully pick out which ones I want and the family that owns the flower farm are always cheerful and gather up whatever I like.

On this particular day I had no plans on taking photos, but soon found myself outside enjoying the country air.

As I was styling my photos I started to ponder.

Living in the country amongst the cows and birds chirping has me lovin slow living.

While some may think that means sitting around…I don’t think of slow living as that.

It’s enjoying the moments and being present.

My creative business and my camera have given me a sense of peace.

Every time I receive an email or message on Instagram saying my photos feel peaceful… my heart sings!
