Still Photography using vintage & sharing little stories

Do you ever question your creativity?

Why you love doing what you do?

As I set up my photo I get lost in the fluffing.

Moving the lace a wee bit and then again.

Should I move my French canning jar be a little to the left, right, forward!

Yes, forward so I can set my focal point on the bloom.

It’s a little dance that takes over in my mind, but it’s also the time that I don’t think!

When you love what you do you get lost.

Everything fades away for a moment and you create from the heart.

Not worried about your numbers or little squares, but rather your art.

My business is about shining a light on the faded and often forgotten pieces.

Pieces that have withstood the test of time.

They sit a little crooked, but they make me smile and in turn I hope they make you smile.

My life is not perfectly curated, our home gets messy, I eat pizza when I feel blue, and I cry when I’m sad…which has happened a great deal over the last ten months.

But, what I do know is that I love this business of mine and the community that supports it.

I love teaching and inspiring others to follow their heart and to create a brand that represents who they are.

Let us embrace the messy and the beautiful…I know I’m happy my life has both.

Kindly, xo

  • I get lost too Jane, but yes, sometimes when I finish a piece, I question whether anyone else will like it.
One of the biggest blessings in my life has been, becoming a part of this amazing creative community. Which of course, includes you. Grateful. :)❤

  • It’s so true that when you truly love what you do you get lost, I have to try & balance that with the parts I don’t love as much! xo
