This week I have a few photos to share of The Flower House and Barn decorated for Fall On The Farm.
I enjoy styling photos…it reminds me of styling my antique booths and when I did shows.
I’ve always been inspired by a curated show or flea market.
The “Flower Show Sign” is such a fun piece!
I never see vintage flower signs and this one has such pretty font!
It really is about the “hunt” to find the perfect vintage treasure.
I picked up this pretty tablecloth from Liberty Antiques Festival.
And this beautiful table and wooden bucket from The Gilded Cottage.
Dahlias and roses from the flower garden…dahlias are over for the season and I have a few roses blooming.
It will be the end of the flower season with cold weather in the forecast.
A pretty pair!
Dahlias and this unique scale with its pretty color and moon shape.
As for my love of simplicity…the Paris newspaper has my heart!
The fall blooms were the most amazing colors.
I’ll be looking for the same next year!
The sun is setting…I love how it casts a shadow on this wooden bucket.
The pretty detail in the bucket is a dream especially paired with flowers from the garden.
Several years ago I visited a small flower farm not far from us and I was able to pick a bucket of blooms.
That was when I knew I wanted to grow the flowers I photographed.
I couldn’t get over having an entire bucket of flowers!
Dried Larkspur that I’ve had for years and dried hydrangeas.
Roses will forever challenge me, especially in our climate.
But I love them and the smell!
When I look at this dahlia trophy I imagine its story.
We all have a story…
Kindly, xo
