Hi friends,

It’s that time of year where everyone seems to be in a different season.

Our family(they all live in Canada except us)celebrates Thanksgiving in October.

We celebrate this month, however, it reminds me to have grace for others and to remember that we are all in a different season when it comes to life.

I think we can easily forget that, but most of us follow people from all over the world.

When my hubby and I went back home a couple of weeks ago I was reminded of the difference in the weather.

I had brought my toque(just in case) and I wore it every day along with everyone else!

A gentle reminder that we are all in a different season.

This year we enjoyed the dahlias until the beginning of the month and then we began fall planting.

I’m super excited for pretty spring blooms.

As the garden keeps us busy I have been thinking of how I want to decorate The Barn and Flower House for the holidays.

I think I know, but I don’t ever really know until I start to style everything.

Stay tuned and follow along with my Instagram Stories for behind-the-scenes holiday styling and fall planting.

And just in case you’re not on social media I wanted to let you know that you can find The Barn in the December issue of Country Sampler Farmhouse Style Christmas Magazine.

It’s exciting to me to see the barn my hubby built and I styled and photographed in a magazine!

They also mention little Miss Madison in our feature!

Well, friends, I tucked in a few photos from last year for some Christmas inspiration and pinning.

Kindly, xo

Jane
