As the year slowly comes to a close I wanted to share one last find with you and hopefully a little inspiration.
These adorable Grain Sack Christmas Stockings I found at a local antique store.
They came in a set of four and each one is unique.
I love the lace, button, and frayed edges.
They also paired perfectly with my Antique bells and Antique lace Christmas trees I purchased from The Halsey Homestead for my Christmas Cards.
This year I had set out to find handmade items from makers.
Reminding me of a simpler time and the beauty of slow living.
When I look at handmade items like these Grain Sack Christmas Stockings.
I think of someone taking the time away from distractions to create.
A sacred time to create and use your imagination.
Writing to all of you and creatively telling visual stories with photography is something I feel called to do.
A gift that I don’t take lightly.
As you get lost in the magic of the Holiday’s I hope you also take the time to reflect and get quiet.
Get Quiet
Take some time for yourself and consider what you would like for 2021.
We all have gifts and it is up to us to find out what we’re passionate about.
When you figure out what lights you up and what keeps you up at night…or in my case up early.
You then have the opportunity to share your gifts with the world.
I feel blessed that I get to share my passion with all of you and mentor.
To watch someone else shine is truly one of the greatest gifts.
During the next few weeks, I will be taking the time to enjoy the Holidays with my little family.
And working behind the scenes on my Mini Creative Course and Vintage Shop.
The shop will be a collection of “smalls” that I love to style, photograph, and shop for.
If there is anything you would like to see please send me a message or comment below.
For daily happenings and a Christmas Barn Tour please follow me on Instagram.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and I will see you in the New Year!
Kindly, xo
