This year I have enjoyed styling Simple Fall Centerpieces.
I’m always styling and photographing my vintage props in my barn studio, but these ideas can be used within your home as well.
The vintage lace(a piece of a curtain) is my favorite all tattered and worn.
The star for me is the dried hydrangeas from my limelight shrub.
Picking these as they just start to dry and change color…I also leave them to dry on the shrub and pick them at every stage for photos.
You also can’t go wrong with a pretty piece of antique ironstone for the vase.
There is less crazing in this one compared to another favorite here, but up close it is not bright white and has some signs of age.
Adding to the charm and it’s a simple shape that is beautiful for any flower arrangement.
Pumpkins, garland, vintage candlesticks, and a pretty antique candle snuffer.
The white pumpkin in the front has a little piece hanging down from its stem…love those details for styling.
Lastly, I wanted to show you the table styled without the garland, and the antique basket is moved.
A simple style makes my heart sing for many reasons and one is that you save money!
You could go either way with less or more!
Look to nature for texture and warmth.
Antique shops, or thrift stores for that one of a kind piece that will add charm to your simple fall centerpieces.
Reuse and Reuse!
Kindly, xo

So very beautiful Jane! Your arrangement is simply perfect as always.
I love both versions, but my fave is without the basket.
The table is just so beautifully worn too.
thank you, Kim!
we both love the simplicity đź’—
Absolutely beautiful and I love that table… I grew up with fancy linens many of which my grandmother made. Just the way you drape this with a loose elegance offsets everything else.
Jane this is awesome Happy Fall… Things are finally starting to cool here…
Carole
thank you, Carole
I hope you have some of your Grandmother’s linens & it’s starting to cool here as well in the morning & evening 🍂
