Rustic Fall Porch decorated with white pumpkins, white mums, & hay bales

Welcome to my Rustic Fall Porch, friends.

I’m happy to share another idea for your fall porch and a simple fall tablescape.

This year I started with one lonely pumpkin until my husband crossed paths with a local farmer.

Bringing home an abundance of white pumpkins.

As you consider your color choices for fall look to see what colors already exist in your home or on your porch.

Our barn porch is already filled with the colors of fall with its rusty tin and the apple picking baskets also add the warmth of the season.

Deciding on white pumpkins, white mums, hay bales, and cornstalks was an easy choice.

It was August when I was styling my studio for a magazine article and in need of some fall touches.

Vintage props mixed in with garland and leaves I picked up at Target from the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Collection.

I try to use what you can find in nature, however, sometimes faux works when you’re styling out of season.

This often happens with seasonal photoshoots.

My mom always uses leaves and anything she can find in nature.

I tend to do the same…in this case sprinkles of hay, pears, peaches, mixed with vintage.

The cornstalks also add more texture to the faux leaves.

As I style I think back to my antiquing days.

There is a whimsical way that an antique booth is styled for a show.

It is something that makes my heart beat a little faster.

I love the magic of make-believe…how dealers fill their spaces for curated shows.

This is where I draw my inspiration for styling.

You can take any ideas and simply make them your own.

In case you missed it I shared another fall tablescape here.

I also wanted to thank everyone that joined me for my first Facebook Live!

I was so nervous, however, you all made me feel comfortable and I look forward to doing another one soon!

These will be a series of conversations about photography and styling for beginners.

If you have anything you would like me to talk about please send me a note.

As always thank you for visiting my blog.

Kindly, xo

Your facebook live was awesome.! Nervous or not, you were yourself, and that made it authentic and perfect in my eyes.
Probably one of my favorite things a booth having my booth is styling it.
I can’t wait to see for the season coming up 🙂
