Our barn porch was featured in Country Living for NC. We feel excited & honored

Hello friends,

I’m super excited to share that our barn porch is representing North Carolina in Country Living Magazine.

They call the article Country From Coast to Coast Door-to-Door Tour.

It’s the June issue and ya’ll are going to love it!

Seeing everyone and reading a wee bit about each place.

We feel honored and I still can’t believe it!

You know that the barn and our farmland is my canvas.

It’s a peaceful place and one filled with stories of days gone by.

The porch is made mostly from an old corn crib and hog pen.

The vintage cutter quilt in the photo was give to me by my friend Dawn (Cottage Day Dreaming).

How amazing it that!

When she gave me the quilt and told me the family history…I knew that I wanted to shine a light on it.

You can imagine my excitement when they picked this photo!

Thank you to everyone that has shared in our excitement.

We love Davidson, North Carolina and we feel honored to be in Country Living Magazine.

Kindly, xo

Jane

  • I’m going to buy a copy today! Wish you were close and I get you to sign it! I’m so happy and excited for you and Shane. You both have put your heart and soul into the barn, and it certainly comes through in your photo’s Jane.
    Big hugs of congratulations!!

  • Jane, I have wanted to visit your barn since the first days of joining the Junkin Sisters Tribe (best Facebook group, ever) and still do. My step-daughter and her family live in Concord, so you are not that far from her.
Anyway, I was just flipping through the new issue, looking at all the lovely pictures representing each state and THERE IT WAS! I got so excited, it was as if you were my daughter! Congratulations, Jane, you achieved a dream I’ve had since I saw my first issue of CL, back in the 80’s.
