There is nothing better than having great neighbors. Folks that wave from the porch when you drive past. Folks that understand the crazy hours you pull restoring an antique treasure you pulled out of the corner of a barn. Folks that don’t judge you when your hair is a mess and you are in overalls and boots.

I adore our new neighbors and they aren’t any of these things.

In April, we moved across our beloved town. We didn’t move across the proverbial tracks but rather across the line that separates city living from rural living (and Taxes!). Hello country living! I don’t know how it took this long to figure out that I love country life.

This beautiful girl is one of eleven that peacefully graze beside our home. I knew from the first moment that I would enjoy seeing them and everyday their freedom and grace inspire me.
